Tips for Cleaning Your Shower

Even though your shower is there to keep you clean, there comes a time when it can start looking a little bit grubby itself. You can always put it off, but unfortunately, you do have to give your shower a clean every now and again.

To make sure that it doesn't become too much of a chore, we have compiled a list of instructions that will make cleaning a shower an easy task. Just ensure you have a healthy supply of Wet and Forget and you'll be ready to go!

1. Remove bottle

Firstly, remove any bottles or even sponges from inside your shower, so you can clean underneath them without knocking them all over. This also gives you a chance to throw out any empty bottles or products that aren't used anymore.

2. Rinse with water

Once you've cleared the shower, give it a rinse with warm water. This will help clear any surface dirt before you start cleaning.

3. Spray with Wet and Forget

With Wet and Forget, you can make easy work of cleaning, by just spraying it on and leaving it to get to work. Leave it on for a couple of hours then rinse off with hot water once again.

4. Hard to reach areas - taps, grouting, corners of shower screen, curtain rail

Remember to either spray your Wet and Forget in those hard to reach nooks and crannies, or get in there yourself and do some scrubbing.

5. Scrub Shower Head (if necessary)

If it's been a long time since cleaning your shower, you might have a build-up of lime scale on the shower head. Either spray on some Wet and Forget, or give it a good scrub to make it sparkle.

6. Clean out the Drain

Last but not least, clean out the drain. It's not the most glamorous of jobs but it certainly needs doing, especially when it gets to the point of the drain being blocked. If you can remove hair etc. by hand, do it. If not, use some drain unblocker to clear any blockages.
